If you don't know what the world's tallest plants are, they are trees. Yes tree's or more specifically big, old ones are disappearing everywhere around the world. The cause of this is fires, droughts, logging and disease. Logging companies are one of the main causes because they target the biggest and oldest trees. Ones again the meddling of humans with the environment is destroying a species. Actually several species because many birds, reptiles, mammals and marsupials make their homes in trees. Some of these tree's even produce seeds that replenish the forest and can be used as food. Many forests around the world can't even grow large, strong tree's anymore because of human interference, shifting climate and aggressive species. Examples of aggressive species would be Asian Tiger Mosquito's, Burmese pythons and Cane toads. Also in areas of the world old trees are vulnerable to being toppled by wind and parasites due to forests being reduced to fragments. The main message of this article is to let it's readers know that trees are disappearing faster than they are reappearing.
This article relates to international business because the declining of tree's will definitely effect the logging companies around the world due to the reduction of trade they will face. This article also gives reason for logging companies to cut down tree's in a more sustainable way, which will reduce production if they decide to.
